Cara Milewski, General Manager

Growing up in Chicago, Cara Milewski was surrounded by great food. Having developed a taste for the industry, she accepted her first restaurant job at the tender age of 15. Working her way up through various positions, she entered restaurant management for a small chain. Cara took a break for college, traveling downstate to Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL and majoring in education. At school Cara missed the foodie atmosphere and applied for a job at firefly.

Hired immediately, Cara worked part-time as a host, then a server, and eventually assumed the full-time position of floor manager after graduating. Over the years Cara has assumed greater responsibilities and fallen in love with the philosophies and ideals behind the firefly. Her knowledge, hard work, loyalty and dedication led to her appointment as General Manager in January 2010. In this position Cara assumes all responsibility for the day to day operation of the firefly. Cara is engaged to be married next summer.
